The Calver Weir Restoration Project has been researching the legacy of the weir and mill through an oral history project. Myra Douglas worked at Sissons for ten years as the Secretary to the Sales Director, Ray Fowler. She worked at the mill during the late 1960s and early 1970s, being given her job after standing in temporarily with no training. Here, Myra talks about her job, company hospitality and working conditions.
